I am a theoretical physicist investigating transport and dynamic phenomena in magnetic materials. I have pioneered the new research area, orbitronics. We study how quantum superposition states from the electronic orbital information can be generated, transported, and detected.
I am a postdoctoral fellow at Quantum Theory of Materias, Peter Grünberg Institute and Institute for Advanced Simulation in Jülich Research Centre (“Forschungszentrum Jülich” in German). I obtained a PhD in physics (condensed matter physics) in 2019 from POSTECH (Pohang University of Science and Technology) in Korea.
